DURATION: 2 Days      

In order for the Fire drill exercise and Life Safety Program to be effective, it is necessary that all supervisory staff within the building participate in a comprehensive exercise preparation and instruction program. This program includes coaching with handouts and is followed by a fire drill practice to reinforce the instruction. The training will impart an opportunity to provide practical knowledge on the emergency evacuation procedures and the use of the exit facilities for all building occupants.

It is compulsory fire drills to be held at intervals not greater than 12 months. A recommended fire drill plan and exercise preparation session shall be made necessary to ensure the responsible committee members of an organization clinch appropriately during the drill. All persons designated in the fire plan must be aware of their duties and function. This session will benefit the committee to know and understand their duties of responsibility in detail plus the drill activity schedule while working together with the fire service department.

Scope

The program scope is to provide an effective evacuation drill understanding on different types of emergency plus the guiding principles. The exercise covers areas of risk administration, Emergency response and anticipation during any nature of emergency. Scope and extent of action involves the emergency response team, Emergency manager and committee members, role-players of emergency scenarios, and officers representing fire service department.
