Program Overview
The provision of learning, training and awareness across all level of employees within an organization is a statutory requirement under the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (Act 514). The recommended Training program is suitable for Commercial and Industrial sites where large numbers of staff members can be instructed in Occupational First Aid, AED & CPR procedures. The course is an ideal method for Management to discharge certain responsibilities under relevant Occupational Health and Safety Act 1994, Duty of Care.
The need for first aid training is further supported by The FMA & OSHA Guide lines for First Aid in the Workplace which identifies that employer should ensure that an appropriate number of suitably trained first aid members are provided.
The training method and contents are designed to offer participants an understanding on varieties of first aid techniques and its application. Participants of this program will also have the opportunity to individually participate in practical demonstration which we believe will provide a better understanding in managing first Aid and CPR.
